The new and improved NUK First Choice teat mimics a mother’s nipple when bottle feeding. The teat adapts perfectly to a baby’s mouth giving a pleasurable and familiar drinking experience.
The NUK First choice teat features an orthodontic shape, extra wide lip support and an extra soft tip, simulating breastfeeding as much as possible. The similarity between teat and nipple is so close that babies hardly notice a difference when transitioning to bottle feeding.
The First Choice Teat also features the NUK Anti-colic Air System. The air system allows air to flow into the bottle through a vent, stopping the child from swallowing air and helping to preventing colic.

Safety and Hygiene:
For safety and hygiene purposes we recommend that you replace teats after 1-2 months of use or whenever they start to show signs of wear.
For cleaning we recommend using the NUK Baby Bottle Cleanser, its natural formula removes dried milk protein, pulp and juice residues more effectively than hot soapy water.
To sterilise bottles and teats we recommend using steam, cold water sterilisation or a NUK Steam or Microwave Steriliser. We do not recommend dishwasher sterilisation as this can cause damage to the material.
